Sunday Practices, April 10th

Some are at the ECS, and some at the Catle, so please read carefully!

First off, don’t forget about the Region 2 Archery Muster at the Castle!

Greetings heavy fighters,

Baronial heavy weapons practice will be held this Sunday, beginning at 2 PM, at the Environmental Charter School, 829 Milton Street in Regent Square. See you all there!

Marshal of Fence Jorundr wrote:

Debatable Lands fencing practice will continue this week at the Environmental Charter School starting at 2 PM.

Remember that this is our last scheduled indoor practice of the year and next week we will be at the Washington Blvd. site. Unless the weather doesn’t cooperate, in which case we will be using the ECS as backup, and will announce the change on this list.

Fight practice Easter Sunday

Greetings heavy fighters,
Fight practice will be held this Sunday, March 27, beginning at 2 PM at the Environmental Charter School, 829 Milton Ave in Regent Square. I asked Robert to run the practice, thinking I could not make it, but it turns out I will be there also this week. Eat your Easter candy and then come out and burn off the calories with us!

The Baronial Webminister hopes to see everybody there!

March Barony Meeting: Thing with Cookies!

Join us Sunday, March 13th, at 2pm, the Environmental Charter School (ECS), 829 Milton Avenue, 15218

Come join the Barony for our March Thing (With Cookies!). A Thing is a general assembly of people in a group, where anything can be discussed. Come meet and chat with your new Baroness and new Seneschal, and each other. What’s important to you? Have a great idea you want to share? A project? Something you’ve been meaning to say? Let your voice be heard! Eat cookies, bring projects to show off, fight, and help shape where we all go from here.

General meeting announcements (brief) at 2pm. Meet the new Seneschal (Vivat Meesteres Odriana!) and the new Baroness following. Fight practices as usual after, but the Thing will continue as long as people want to chat.

No garb. Cookie donations encouraged 🙂
[ed.note: Please keep in mind that, for allergy reasons, the school is a nut-free zone.]

Region 2 Archery Muster at the Castle

Mestari Urho writes:

Attention All Archers!!
The Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands invites you to a Regional Muster celebrating Archery, Thrown Weapons, Youth Fighting, and Arts & Sciences at the Castle home of Their Royal Highnesses of AEthelmearc Byron and Ariella on April 10th. This is the day after Their Coronation. The muster will begin at 10:00 in the morning and continue until 5:00 pm.

The archery and thrown weapons ranges will be open at 10:00 am and archery from the towers, led by THL Deryk Archer, will begin at 1:00 pm.

The main archery goal this day is to shoot and submit rounds for the Gwyntarian Winter Challenge which closes later that week. There will also be training if we have enough marshals. The Barony’s loaner gear will be available.

Please bring something for a pot luck. We’re going to be there all day, so let’s eat. Pop, water, plates, bowls, and utensils will all be provided.

Their Highnesses have asked that you dress in garb for the day.

The Castle address is 755 Stonegate Drive, Wexford PA 15090.

In service to the Barony-Marche and the Kingdom,
