First Friday – TONIGHT!

This Friday, 5 May 2017 will be First Friday at Keiran and Odriana’s home in Hamption Township. There won’t be fighting as Keiran needs to work that evening, however, Odriana will be hosting.

What is First Friday? I’m glad that you asked. It’s an opportunity to socialize, for the most part. We have a loose framework of hanging out and enjoying/talking about Medieval food. You don’t like to cook, but you like food? Come and eat.

So, bring a medieval dish to share, print out or write up your recipe and tell us a little bit about what you find interesting about the dish, or what you enjoy about the dish. Tell us a little bit about your experience making it and we’ll eat and hang out.

If you’re unfamiliar with medieval cooking and need some direction, here are a couple of useful links for beginner recipes that you can try:

As it is looking like the weather is going to be rainy, no fire circle will be happening tonight.

May Scriptorium Cancelled; Go to War Practice!

Unto the Barony, greetings from Kameshima, Scribal Guildmaster.

This month’s Scriptorium, scheduled for May 17, overlaps with the first night of War Practice. In an effort not to overload your schedule, we are choosing to cancel this month’s practice, and instead, recommend that you attend War Practice and avail yourself of the plethora of scribal classes that will be offered, and the Scribal Playtime that will take place from 10am – 4pm on Saturday, May 20th.

Join us again in June for our regularly scheduled Project Night! Remember that Project Nights are also available for Small Group Workshops: if you have a specific topic or skill that you would like to work on, please let us know at scriptorium@debatablelands.org and we will do our best to arrange for someone to be there to work with you.

In Honor and Service,
