Looking at the radar, it seems we are directly in line with the former hurricane/tropical storm system that came in thru the gulf. It’s long, it’s wide and it’s going to blast is all weekend long. Therefore I’m cancelling practice right now, because I really don’t think it’s a good idea to be in that particular place when there is a whole lot of water heading our way, because flooding, and flooding very quickly at that. THLord Kuma has noted that the current forecast is for significant rain on Sunday: 2-3″ of rain on Sunday morning with another 1-2″ in the afternoon and a high chance of flooding. Since the Washington Blvd. site is a flood plane, if this forecast holds, we’ll need to cancel for safety reasons. Please watch these feeds — I will post a message by noon if A&S is cancelled. There will be fight practice this Sunday, September 9 from 2 til 6 at the Washington Blvd site. Loaner armor will be available.
