It’s Shakespeare Movie Night! Tonight, Friday, May 7th we’ll be showing Merchant of Venice starting at 8:15pm, followed by a chat after the movie.
All that glisters is not gold. This performance stars Al Pacino. We hope to see you there! Watch from the comfort of your living room via the AEther or join us at the home of Ceindrech and Libby, in Monroeville.
Please contact Alaric at alaric (at) pobox (dot) com for the Zoom room information. He can also be reached via DM on Discord (Alaric #9264). Get your information before the movie starts, if possible, as Alaric is also watching and might not see your request to join right away. If you attended a prior Shakespeare Movie Night, the Zoom room information is the same.
If you plan to join us in person, you must be fully vaccinated (2 weeks past your last shot) per request of the homeowners. There is a limit of 13 people total and masks must be worn. In person attendees must notify me in advance (email: alaric (at) pobox (dot) com, or Alaric #9264 on Discord) that you plan to attend (don’t show up at the door). I’ll provide the address when you request to attend in person. In person requests must be made no later than 5pm on Friday, May 7th.

So it is so that it will soon be time to sew. Thursday May 6th at 7:30 is the next sewing circle. Not just sew, but knit, braid, or perhaps spin. If you are working with fiber, we will enjoy your company. Maybe you have a mending project, and that would make this session May Mending. I am continuing online sewing for companions who are not close enough or free enough to join in person. Masks are required. If you are fully vaccinated, past your Freedom day, and would like to attend in-person, or if you want the zoom information, please feed free to email sewing (at) debatablelands (dot) org.
