Good Gentles One and All!
The Shire of Kings Crossing and Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands are hosting the Coronation of Their Sylvan Highnesses, Gareth Kincaid and Juliana Delamere to the Throne of Æthelmearc! We will be so honored to watch our Crown Prince and Princess become King and Queen once more.
The event will be held at Camp Bucoco, 150 Bu Co Co Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. Site opens at 4pm on April 5th and closes at 5PM on April 7th. Troll will be open on Friday by 4PM and Saturday by 8AM.
Activities will commence on Friday at 4 PM, in the Dining Hall, where many may gather to play games and socialize. There will be a bardic circle and dancing at 6PM. Heavy weapons and fencing pickups are welcome. Thrown weapons range will be open. Her Royal Majesty may hold court on Friday evening.
On Saturday, coronation commences, and we will welcome our new Sylvan Majesties to the throne of Æthelmearc.
Between morning and evening court there will be a Heavy Weapons Championship on the parade field, quadrant A. It will be a double elimination style tournament. MIC is THL Darian Valski.
There will also be a Queen’s Fencing Tournament during this timeframe as well. Also located on the parade field, Quadrant B. The format is a rotating parry object bear pit tournament with a surprise to be announced on the day of the tourney. MIC is Lord Robert Hawksworth.
Youth fighting and activities will be also be present in front of the dining hall facility. These activities are headed by THL Methias T Weasel. Format TBA.
A&S Display will be located in the side room of the Preston Environmental Center. This display will be judged by Their Royal Majesties.
There will be a thrown weapons range open for practice on Friday at 4PM and the range will open Saturday at 8AM. Master Antonio de Luna will be the MIC for thrown weapons. The will be a nautical-themed novelty tournament on Saturday.
An Archery range will also be present on Saturday, led by Lord Alfonso de Santo Domingo. Format and times TBD.
On Sunday there will be a Æthelmearc Kingdom muster. Join us on the field to practice for the upcoming war. Muster starts at 11AM and runs until 4PM.
The food will be delicious and plentiful! It will begin Saturday morning with a light breakfast of donated items that will be available at 8AM. Feast per person: $9.00. Feast count will be set by the Monday before the event, but we are likely to sell out before then, so please do not wait to reserve a spot. Feast capacity is limited to 80 seats.
Cabin space is $5.00/Bed per evening. There are 4 rustic cabins and 74 total beds available on site. The cabins are heated by wood which will be provided. Tent Camping is Free. The site includes a shower house, but please keep in mind if the weather is cold it may not be open.
