The Court of Their Excellencies, Brandubh and Hilderun, Baron and Baroness of the Debatable Lands at the AEthelmearc Grand Tourney, on February 2, AS 53. Court heralded by Kieran MacRae.

Their Excellencies opened court briefly during the two-sword round of the heavy weapons portion of the tournament, and called Royce Bentley before them. For his prowess and presence on the field, they awarded him an Iron Comet. Scroll by Tierney Rose.

The court of Their Excellencies was thereby suspended.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the court of Their Excellencies was reopened.

Their Excellencies took the opportunity to thank Their Royal Highnesses Gareth and Juliana for their presence at today's event.

A moment of silence was requested in memory of Tsepora of the Debatable Lands (mother of Mistress Ts'vee'a Bat Sepora), who had passed away earlier in the week.

Their Excellencies asked all those for whom this was their first event to come forward and be thanked.

Maighster Liam was requested to come forward as autocrat and thank all those who put in hard work to make this event happen. Also recognized were:
-Sylvia, Fritz, and Andrea; participants in the Youth Quest
-Nicola Beese, A&S competition winner
-All those who heralded and marshaled in the 6(!) tournaments, and especially Baroness Anna for being MOL and her 4(!!) MOLs-in-training.

Their Excellencies were most pleased to call for the six scribes who created -all- the prize scrolls that very day! They, and the wordsmiths, were given tokens for their efforts in recognizing all scroll recipients.
