Here begins the Court report of Their Excellencies, Brandubh and Hilderun, at Pennsic 48, AS 54. Kieran MacRae, Comet Pursuivant; Nichola Beese, second.

Their Excellencies welcomed everyone and bid them take their comfort.

Their Excellencies called upon Mistress Arianna of Wynthrope to provide an update to the fundraising effort currently going on at Pennsic.

Their Excellencies welcomed in Her Excellency of Carillion, a barony of the East Kingdom, and Pennsic neighbor, Baroness Tysha z Kieva, bearing gifts! It was noticed by Her Excellency that the Carillion campsite received assistance from our illustrious Excellencies earlier in the week, and in gratitude Baroness Tysha presented Brandubh and Hilderun with a tomato plant, basil plant, and oregano plants (colloquially referred to as 'pizza plants').

Their Excellencies then called Leah of the Debatable Lands before them so she could be presented an Iron Comet for her skills in horsemanship. Illumination by Ihtiaziz as Gani, Calligraphy by Ceindrich verch Elidir.

Their Excellencies wished THL Rufina Saavedra to come before them. They then called the Order of Copernicus to join them. For all that Rufina has done in support of the BMDL finding practice and meeting sites over the years so our activities could continue to run smoothly, she was inducted into this good order. Their Excellencies next requested the presence of Katherine Fixis, also known as Vixxie of Clovenshield, to join them. She has been most helpful assisting in the organizing of parades that allow the BMDL to be seen by hundreds, and for this she was awarded a gold comet. Scroll by Nichola Beese.

Next Their Excellencies called for Alysoun of the Debatable Lands. Alysoun has been doing much service for the brewer's guild, serving as its mistress, hosting meetings, and sharing freely any and all of her findings (and concoctions!). Their Excellencies called before them Duncan MacCoulagh, and presented him with his Golden Alce (unsigned) that was given in an earlier Kingdom Court. Their Excellencies also presented him with a Cometus Amicus for his skills in archery and being thrown weapons champion. Scroll by Tierrany Rose Orre.

Their Excellencies then called Meinolf Grimmson to come before them. For his skills in thrown weapons, being a marshal, and as thrown weapons champion winning the 7 Pearls round, he was awarded an iron comet. Scroll by Eilionora ingean an Bhaird.

Robert Bakere was next to be called and recognized by Their Excellencies for his thrown weapons skills and years of service to the BMDL and their War effort. He was thusly awarded an iron comet. Illumination by Lucetta di Cosimo, calligraphy by Rachel Daliceaux.

Their Excellencies wished to see Kameshima Zentarou Umakai-kyo to be praised for his skills as webminister, providing quick and accurate updates consistently. He was awarded a gold comet. Next Their Excellencies wished to have Kumagaya Masamoto come before them. His deeds as archer, knife and axe thrower, rider, heavy weapons fighter, equestrian champion, and marshal for thrown weapons are too numerous not to be noticed or recognized, and was awarded an Iron comet. Their Excellencies wished to pass along the upcoming dates and times of Knowne Worlde Baronial Championship Tournaments happening over the course of the following week:
Archery - Kathryn Tantzel, champ - ....it already happened! She came in second overall!
Rapier - Wed. from 12-3, Don Jorundr hinn Rotinn, champ, on the blue and white lists.
Thrown Weapons - Tue. from 1-3. Duncan MacCoulagh, champ, on the TW range.
Heavy Weapons - Wed, from 9-12. Bors of Rouen, champ, on the blue and white lists.
Youth fighting - Tue, from 12:30 - 3, Ethan, Bree, and Xavier, champs, on the youth lists.
War Points Champs team - Antonio for Thrown weapons (Thursday) and Juan Miguel for Archery (Tuesday).

Their Excellencies noted that Pennsic in and of itself can be a labor intensive experience, yet there were those who were inspired to participate in a half marathon on top of everything else. They were asked to stand and be recognized for their dedication and skill.

Their Excellencies next invited those scribes who contributed to wording, calligraphy, and/or illumination to scrolls handed out at this court or at My Kingdom for a Horse to come forward, be recognized, and receive a token of appreciation.

Their Excellencies announced that those that wished to display the colors of the BMDL on the field, in service, or just around site at Pennsic should see Her Excellency after court is over.

Finally, Their Excellencies asked those who were responsible for putting together the reception at AE royal, so all could enjoy enjoy themselves, to stand and be appreciated for their hard work.
