Castle Shoot Prep

Help to prep the castle hill for our Archery Muster on Saturday.

If you are not going to Coronation, I, Lady Katheryn Täntzel will be going to the castle that Saturday, the day before the muster, to help clean up the hill to make our day of archery that much more awesome! I will be there between 11 am – 1 pm to clean up the hill, any additional help is welcome.

Food Guild Announced

Food!! Glorious Food!!

The inaugural meeting of the Food Guild will be at the Archery Muster at 1 PM, on April 7, the day after Coronation. If you like cooking, or baking, or experimenting with recipes, or eating food that other people prepare, then this is where you want to be.

We’ll talk about what we want to do, what we want to learn, what we are interested in, and where we are going with this guild. We will also be making cheese, and testing various flavor combinations.

Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Contact Elss Augsburg on Facebook or email her at elss.of.augsburg@gmail.com

I’m hungry already!

Fencing Practice March 31

Greetings,

There will be fencing practice this week at the Chinese Church from 2-6.

Loaner gear is available.

Next Sunday, the day after Coronation, will be a regional muster at the same site as Coronation, so practice will be relocated there next week.

Coronation Largesse Basket from the Barony

Hello Debatable Lands!

The Coronation of Prince Gareth and Princess Juliana is coming up in shortly, on April 6th. It’s customary for our Barony to present the new King and Queen with a gift basket from our people. Not only does this showcase our most Excellent Artisans, but it also provides useful items to our new Royalty to use as gifts during Their Reign.

Items that are especially welcome are things our Royalty might gift to others, from order medallions to small pieces of jewelry, clothing accessories, incidentals like needle books, small blank notebooks, blank thank you cards, small feast items, bags or pouches, cording, and similar. Consumables are most welcome, but very well labeled, please. Anything you think is useful. Handmade or store bought or anything in between.

Please do label your items with your name if you’re comfortable doing so! We like to see lots of recognition of Debatable Landers!

We are also currently looking for a new Largesse Coordinator, as Lady Ashling has stepped down. Thank you to her for her wonderful years of service! VIVAT! If you are interested in Coordinating Coronation and Baronial Investiture Gift Baskets, please let us know! (It is not my forte…)

The Baron or I will be at the next Sunday practices, and Monday choir practice, the Business Meeting Wednesday, or we can arrange something else. Drop us a line if you’d like to arrange a largesse drop-off/pick-up: baroness@debatablelands.org or Facebook, and baron@debatablelands

Thank you!

In Levitate et Caritate
~Baroness Hilda
