Hi everyone!!! There will be practice on Sunday, Oct 14th starting at 2pm. Mistress Airanna will be MIC for me because my grandson is getting baptized.
The following weekend is Agincourt, we have a lot of great things planned for youth fighters and hope to see everyone there. There will not be youth fighting practice at Washington Blvd that Sunday.

This week we will make simple no-sew crayon rolls for children or the otherwise artfully inclined for the Baron and Baroness to gift to the Royalty. I will bring all the materials needed.

NOTE: Even though the parking lot is full of huge white trailers, there is still quite a lot of space to park. There is also a parking lot up Washington Blvd where the cyclists park, and a path down to our site.

Sorry for the late notice. This weekend, Fox and I were at boy scout camp. We will not be having youth practice this weekend as I got sick there and unable to make practice. I barely can drive home from camp. See you next weekend!!

On the 29th day of September, at the celebration of the Coronation of Anna Leigh and Harvest Raid XXV, a vigil shall occur so that THLady Luceta di Cosimo may prepare her answer to Our Majesties’ royal order that she contemplate elevation to the most noble Order of the Laurel.
We are seeking sustenance and refreshment for those offering to her their counsel and guidance. Any who would be pleased to create a food or beverage contribution, here is the information you need:

As I’m sure many of you already know, our wonderful Luceta DiCosimo will be sitting vigil for elevation to the Order of the Laurel at Harvest Raids the weekend of the 28th. In addition to a cookie table, coordinated by Muirgheal, there will also be lots of non-cookie things to eat. I, Lady Kattera Doplerin, have a few specific things I’ll be making, and I will be coordinating the non-cookie offerings. There will be a gluten-free table as well. The was MUCH interest in our fiber arts display at the Children’s Museum, so I thought we would get together and discuss weaving on an inkle loom, and other types of fiber-y fun.
===>> But wait! THLord Kuma has noted that the current forecast is for significant rain on Sunday: 2-3″ of rain on Sunday morning with another 1-2″ in the afternoon and a high chance of flooding. Since the Washington Blvd. site is a flood plane, if this forecast holds, we’ll need to cancel for safety reasons. Please watch these feeds — I will post a message by noon if A&S is cancelled.

Sorry for late notice but after talking/texting/messaging- our youth fighters’ parents. We will be not having practice today. Only 1 or 2 at the most were coming this week. See everyone in 2 weeks.
It is going to be a heat index of over 93° this afternoon. I will be at youth practice this afternoon but please use your best judgement for your little one. If you are coming to youth practice, please bring plenty of cold water and other items to keep them cool.
There will be no Youth combat practice next Sunday as I have an event I will be at and not make it home in time for practice that Sunday.
